We collect and process your personal information mainly for our training needs and includes marketing, purchasing, recruitment and related services. For this purpose, we will collect personal details including your name, contact details and address.

Emailing You information about Your progress in Courses, rewards programs, new services, new features, promotions, newsletters, and other available Courses;

Sending push notifications to Your Wireless device to provide updates and other relevant messages. You can manage push notifications from the “options” or “settings” page for the mobile application.

Understand and improve the Services and develop new products, services or features;

Enable User-to- User communication and interaction;

Manage Your Account preferences, establish Your Profile and Registration Information;

Facilitate the technical functioning of the Services, including without limitation to troubleshoot and resolve issues, secure the Services; and prevent fraud and abuse;

Respond to customer support questions and issues and resolve disputes;

Create, review, analyze and share Technical Information;

Analyze trends and User traffic, track purchases and usage information;

Advertise our Services on third party websites or mobile applications;

Market, process or fulfill Promotions administered or sponsored by Magnacorp Project Managers (Pty) Ltd;

Solicit feedback from users;

As required or permitted by law;

As We, in our sole discretion, otherwise determine to be necessary or required to ensure the safety and/or integrity of our users, employees, third parties, members of the public, and/or our services;

Tailor advertisements across devices.


We may disclose your personal information to our service providers who are involved in the delivery of products or services to you. We have agreements in place to ensure that they comply with the privacy requirements as required by the Protection of Personal Information Act.

We are legally obliged to takes reasonable steps to provide adequate protection for the personal information we hold and to prevent unauthorized access and use of personal information. We will, on an on-going basis, continue to review our security controls and related processes to ensure that your personal information remains secure, and we will inform you of any breaches in accordance with the Act.


Our Company has a strict confidentiality policy as we are aware that we will have access to sensitive information. For the purpose of this policy, confidentiality relates to the transmission of personal, sensitive or identifiable information about individuals or companies which comes into the possession of our Company through its work.

Facilitators will at all times, act to protect the integrity of our assessment policy and will treat all assessment criteria with the utmost confidentiality. They will ensure that learners are not allowed any prior knowledge of the questions in the formative or summative assessment.

Assessors sign a Service Level Agreement which states that confidentiality and security will be upheld during the Assessment procedure stating they will not divulge any information or make use of any documents found in the learners Portfolio of Evidence.

Our Company will endeavour to ensure all learner records and learner assessment information are securely stored and treated confidentially by:

  • Captured electronically will be protected by a password
  • Electronic equipment will be safely locked away
  • Hard copies are locked away
  • Identified receivers of such information sign on receipt
  • Access of the Administration Office will be limited to authorised personnel only
  • Access to the Company premises will be limited by ensuring the front door/gate is always locked and only opened when the Company is certain of the person gaining access to its premises.

When we contract with third parties, we impose appropriate security, privacy and confidentiality obligations on them to ensure that personal information that we remain responsible for, is kept secure.

We will ensure that anyone to whom we pass your personal information agrees to treat your information with the same level of protection as we are obliged to.


To ensure all Information in the Company is protected the Company will ensure systems are in place to address:

  • Safety Guidelines for all users
  • Access control to the MIS
  • Protection of data integrity
  • Software requirements guidelines
  • Hardware requirements guidelines
  • Network Management and Security
  • Computer Lab Scheduling/Rules
  • Internet Policy, Rules and


You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. To do this, simply contact us at the numbers/addresses as provided on our website and specify what information you require. We will need a copy of your ID document to confirm your identity before providing details of your personal information.

Please note that any such access request may be subject to a payment of a legally allowable fee.


You have the right to ask us to update, correct or delete your personal information. We will require a copy of your ID document to confirm your identity before making changes to personal information we may hold about you. We would appreciate it if you would keep your personal information accurate.


According to the Act ‘‘personal information’’ means information relating to an identifiable, living, natural person, and where it is applicable, an identifiable, existing juristic person. Further to the POPI Act, personal information also includes the following items:

All addresses including residential, postal and email addresses.

Change of name – for which we require copies of the marriage certificate or official change of name document issued by the department of home affairs.
